How to export your Nextiva data

Last checked 28 September 2026

Answer

For call history, sign in as an administrator, click Voice in the left sidebar, then under Call Activity click View Call Details; up to one year of call history is available. For the same data as a file, open analytics, click the Report tile on the left, click Expand on the Total Count or Count by Day chart, click Call log at the bottom of the screen, then click Export at the top right of the table, which downloads a CSV. Call recordings sit in a separate recorder portal: submit a case to request access and Nextiva supplies the portal URL, username and password, scoped to the whole account, named users or one user. Inside it, set the Time Frame dropdown, pick a filter (ID, duration, Local Party, Remote Party or Any Party), click Search using added filters, then use the download arrow on one recording or tick several and choose Export selected or Export query results. Nextiva stores recordings for 6 months by default and extra storage can be bought for the account up to 3 years.

What it holds

Business phone call history, call detail records and call recordings.

Find the size

Nextiva shows no storage figure. The recorder portal returns the recordings for the selected time frame as a searchable list, and the analytics Call log export is one row per call with the call duration on it. Quote the recording count for the period plus the hours those calls total, and note that a large export takes longer to compile and a bulk download of too many files at once times out.

What to enter on the form
