Terms of use

These cover the use of this website. They are not the deal. What Artemis pays, what it may do with an archive and what you keep are in the signed licence, and nothing on this site changes it.

The estimate is not an offer

Every figure this site produces is indicative. It is not an offer, not a quote and not a contract, and no amount becomes payable until an agreement is signed. A number here that turns out to be wrong is a correction, not a claim.

What you tell us

You confirm that you may share what you type, that you are describing records you own or can license, and that the description is honest. We rely on it, and we warrant to a buyer only what you have warranted to us.

What you must not do

Do not submit somebody else's confidential material, do not upload an archive to this site, and do not use it to probe, scrape or disrupt the service. There is no page here that accepts a file, and an attempt to make one is a misuse.

Accounts

A sign-in link is single use and personal to the address it was sent to. Tell us if one reaches somebody it should not have.

Availability

The site is provided as it is. It may be unavailable, it may change, and a page may be wrong. Where the site and a signed agreement disagree, the agreement governs.

The deal is elsewhere

Price, exclusivity, payment timing, de-identification scope and rights are in the licence. The plain-English summary of them is on the terms page, and the summary has no legal effect either.
