How to export your Five9 data

Last checked 28 September 2026

Answer

For the data, generate a report from the report output page or from the wizard that creates or edits it, select Export or Export Details, select a format and whether to include charts, then select OK, and select Download when the export completes. Formats are HTML, PDF, Excel, RTF and CSV, where CSV is the raw data meant for loading elsewhere; a matrix report cannot go to CSV, and an Excel CSV export has a 200,000 cell limit. Large reports are run with Background selected so work continues while they generate, and Scheduled Reports can be emailed or sent to an FTP server. Recordings go out separately: in the Administrator application select the Export then Recordings tab, pick FTP or SFTP, enter the server hostname and credentials, set the file name pattern, click Test, and save, and recordings then transfer in real time.

What it holds

Call log records per call ID and per call segment, with agent, campaign, disposition, queue and talk time, plus agent call recordings and transcripts, contact records and call lists.

Find the size

Five9 prints no storage figure. Run the Call Log standard report for the period and read its call count, then quote the row count of the exported CSV. Recordings are one WAV file per recorded call held on the Five9 server for 30 days, one hour per call at most, or three hours if Five9 support raises it.

What to enter on the form
