For metadata go to Reports then Dataset export, choose the dataset, time period, filters and columns, then click Export CSV. A teammate needs both the Can access Chart drill-in and the Can export CSV permissions. Conversation and message content is not in the CSV, so transcripts come from the Conversations REST API, from a bulk Export as text or Export as PDF in the Inbox at 200 to 300 conversations per operation, or from the JSON export to Amazon S3.
What it holds
Customer conversations and tickets, contact and company records, and outbound message data.
Find the size
Intercom publishes no storage figure. Browser downloads stop at 10,000 rows and anything larger is emailed, and data is generally available for up to two years, so quote a conversation count from the Conversations dataset.
