On the homepage select the account profile to open the menu, choose Settings, select Account & security, then go to Download your Canva uploads and designs, or Download your Canva team uploads and designs when the account is part of a team, and click Request to download. Canva emails when the files are ready, which takes 24 to 72 hours depending on how much there is. Go back to the Account settings page and click Download, where the output is split into separate ZIP files. The link stays live for 14 days. It is desktop only, and where there is a team only the team owner can pull the designs and uploads made in that team. The account cannot be deleted while a request is running.
What it holds
Designs, uploaded images, videos and fonts, folders, and the account holder's own name, email, phone number and profession.
Find the size
Canva prints no storage figure on the download page. Count the designs on the Projects page and the files under Projects then All projects then Uploads, filtered by Images or Videos, and quote those counts. Plan caps give the ceiling, not the usage: 5 GB free, 100 GB Canva Pro, 500 GB per team on Canva Business.
