How to export your Airtable data

Last checked 28 September 2026

Answer

On the Enterprise Scale plan an org admin provisions a personal access token, POSTs to the Create eDiscovery Export endpoint with one base ID, then GETs the eDiscovery Export endpoint until the state is Done and returns download links. The default output is one JSON file holding records, metadata and comments, and CSV returns a zip with two files per table, one for the table and one for record comments. Bases export one at a time, a request is cut off at 10 minutes, and calculated fields, revision history and deleted records are excluded.

What it holds

Bases of tables, records, fields, record comments, interfaces and attachments.

Find the size

Open the admin panel then Bases, where the Records column gives the record count per base and sorts by it, and the page also shows the total number of bases in the organization. The CSV download from that page carries record count, collaborator count, interface count and created time per base.

What to enter on the form

Airtable in records, and the year your company started using it. Seller form
