Meet recordings and the files attached to them are held in Drive, so an admin with the Manage Matters, Manage Searches and Manage Exports privileges signs in to vault.google.com, clicks Matters and opens a matter, selects Drive as the service, searches on meeting title, owner, meeting ID or recording start time, then clicks Export, names the export and clicks Export. A recording carries its chat log as SBV, an attendance sheet of participant names, emails and duration, and Q&A and polls sheets. Export files are available for 15 days after the export starts, and an export that runs past 24 hours comes back marked Export contains partial results and is continued in a further run. For the meeting log rather than the content, go to Menu then Reporting then Audit and investigation then Meet log events, click Export all, and the rows go to Google Sheets or CSV up to 100,000 rows.

Neither Vault nor the Meet admin pages print a byte figure. Meet log events carries a Duration (seconds) column per participant alongside the meeting code and conference ID, and Export all writes those rows out. Quote total meeting hours summed from those durations, plus the count of recordings the Vault search returned.
